The Kelleher Club Way

The success of this house is in the hands of members, we all need to choose to be great community members. There’s just a few key rules here to agree to. Below are some ideas on How to be a Great Club Member.

Our core philosophy is to ‘do unto others’, encouraging us all to act as we’d like to be treated ourselves. There are just five ‘obligatory’ rules that define the Kellerher Club Way that can result in the loss of your membership if not followed (and hence your ability to stay in the house). This is done at the owner/manager’s discretion.

  1. This Kellerher commuter club house in Denver is only for female SWA FA’s, and only for use as your commuter accommodation in Denver before and after a trip (or while on reserve). If a member’s usage falls outside this stated purpose, you may be required to provide your schedule as evidence of commuter related usage as opposed to being used to “live in base” between trips.

  2. You should vacate your room by midday, leaving it clean and tidy for the next person and all personal belongings should be removed from the bedroom and bathroom. You do not need to leave the house by any specific time, but members may not stay overnight without a room booking.

  3. Please respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am so we can all get a good night’s sleep.

  4. Your linen and (dry) towel should be stored in a labelled tub/locker in the garage between trips.

  5. All bathrooms, bunkroom, lounge and kitchen are shared spaces, you should utilise them in a considerate way that doesn’t restrict other people’s reasonable access to them.

How to be a Great Club Member

Good to know:

  • Observe the 5 rules in the  Kelleher club Way.

  • You can only stay with a confirmed booking. If your schedule changes or you trip trade, cancelled bookings can only be made online, 48 hours prior to your stay. Cancelled bookings will be given a “credit” or coupon for future bookings.

  • Reserve line holders are encouraged to book single night stays and only book additional nights once you know you have not/will not be assigned flying for today/tonight. If the clubhouse is in high demand for any given night, reserve line holders may not be able to guarantee booking the same room for a second/third night etc. In which case, it is recommended that during high use periods, reserve line holders should book a bunk room. Bunk beds 1-4 are unassigned beds and can be used on a first come basis.

How to be a Respectful Club Member

  • You should vacate your room by midday, leaving it clean and tidy for the next person and all personal belongings should be removed from the bedroom and bathroom. You do not need to leave the club house however, by any specific time (Hint, this is more relevant to members on reserve) .

  • Let’s keep it affordable and environmentally friendly - turn lights off when not in use, turn off the air conditioner if you are the last person out, and please, close all windows and doors when using the air conditioner.

  • Keep it tidy - please clean up after yourself in the common areas (kitchen and bathroom), and don’t leave any food behind unless you put a ‘share’ sticker on it for others to use.

  • Please respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am so we can all get a good night’s sleep.

  • Manage your linen - when you leave, place your sheets, pillowcases and towel in your member’s locker/tub in the garage (you may need to put your towel through the dryer for 5 minutes so it's not damp) and label your locker/tub. When it’s time to wash your linen, do it when you first arrive in the washer/dryer on the top floor then fold it and put it away. You can take fresh linen to use. Please don’t leave linen or towels in bedrooms or bathrooms when you go.

  • Please don’t use towels to remove makeup. There’s facecloths provided for this (they are easier to wash, and cheaper to replace when needed!)

  • Smoke & vape free - please do not smoke or vape in the house.

  • Monday evening is the night to put trash cans out (they are in the garage). If you are there Monday evening/Tuesday morning, it would be greatly appreciated if you would take a minute to put the trash cans out

  • We are all adults here. Any disputes or disagreements should be managed by yourselves respectfully. The manager does not get involved in personal disputes. If you have a suggested rule change that would help make the place work better, please do send that to the manager for consideration.
